2013 Cliburn Competition award winner Steven Lin is an immediately engaging and imaginative young artist, applauded by the New York Times for playing that is “…immaculately voiced and enhanced by admirable subtleties of shading and dynamics.”The Juilliard-trained Taiwanese American pianist made his debut with the New York Philharmonic in Avery Fisher Hall at the age of 13, and counts among his many impressive awards the second prize at the prestigious Arthur Rubinstein Piano Competition in 2014. This season, he performs around the world,including in Israel, Poland, and London (at the famed Wigmore Hall), and also makes his Kennedy Center debut in Washington, D.C.
